Not the ASGPP, but the The American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA) will hold its 2006 Annual Meeting on Feb. 20-25 at The Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.

AGPA kicks off the meeting on Feb. 20 with Irvin Yalom, M.D., DFAGPA and Molyn Leszcz, M.D., FRCPC, CGP delivering a Special Institute Presentation entitled "The Schopenhauer Cure: Group Therapy Demonstration and Discussion." During this institute, actors will assume the roles of group therapy members portrayed in Dr. Yalom's latest book, The Schopenhauer Cure (HarperCollins), providing an opportunity to create, demonstrate and analyze the process of group therapy. Media are invited to attend this one-of-a-kind training event.

Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations--conference in Romania! The international psychodrama movement is advancing. Horatiu Albini one of the leaders of the field in Romania, is one of the hosts for the forthcoming FEPTO conference.They are now planning a post-conference with the theme: "Theory in Practice of Different Approaches in Psychodrama". The 30th of April - the 2nd of May 2006, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Dear friends,
On behalf of the FEPTO council and the local organizing team in Romania I am honored to invite you to the post-conference following the 14th FEPTO meeting: "Apollon with Dionysos. Theories in action". This event will take place in Cluj-Napoca, between 30 of April until the 2nd of May 2006. It will be organized for trainees, trainers and practitioners, with the topic
"Theory in Practice of Different Approaches in Psychodrama". The post conference will give opportunity for trainees and trainers to meet trainees and trainers from other FEPTO member institutes, to share and to exchange experiences. It will also give opportunity for trainees to experience the different approaches in psychodrama by trainers of their fellow European institutes. The trainers can meet other trainers to have an exchange about the topic of supervision. As the post conference is
focused on trainees we will be very glad if you could spread this information among your students in your own institute.

Time
The post conference begins on Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. and ends on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Dear Colleagues

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to submit a
presentation proposal for an international conference, entitled

*" Imagine: Expression in the Service of Humanity",
*To be held in Israel on April 2-6, 2006

This conference will focus on the development of creative therapeutic
tools appropriate for dealing with conflict in general and the
Israeli-Palestine conflict in particular.
The predominant theme is to touch and understand the pain of the other
as a vehicle for growth and development and an opportunity to explore
new ideas and approaches.
We intend to listen, thought, learn and conduct research together.

The conference will bring together a multidisciplinary group of
researchers and practitioners from fields including group psychotherapy
and group analysis, psychology, psychiatry, the expressive therapies,
education, social work and related areas of inquiry, as well as from the
arts.

The program will incorporate presentations by distinguished speakers,
simultaneous symposia, workshops and panels. Some off the many theories
and themes to be explored include: Living with Conflict and Ongoing
Trauma; Conflict Resolution Among Indigenous Societies; Developing
Dialog During a Time of Conflict; Building Resilience in the Face of
Existential Survival Issues; Artistic Responses to Difficult Times; and
Social Trauma - Conscious and Subconscious Consequences
