Log in to manage your online account with MyTax Illinois by using mytax.illinois.gov. You can find the login area on the lower left hand side of the portal. Type in your username and password accordingly and use the ‘Log in’ button to access your account. From there, you can manage your account in whichever way you please – you can edit your personal information, make a tax payment, calculate your tax, etc.
In the event that you forget your username and/or password, you can use the ‘Forgot?’ link found on the side of each box to get assistance. If you don’t have an online account yet, you can create one by using the ‘Sign Up Now button’. It will redirect you to the online registration form which you need to fill out to complete the process. You may also watch the guide prepared by mytax.gov by using the blue link that says ‘Guide to create a MyTax Illinois account’.
