If you have recently visited a physician and need to make a secure payment online using mymedicalpayments, the process is easy and requires your account number and the patient’s date of birth. My medical payments is set up to make payments quick and easy and secure.
You can use a service to bill your health insurance by providing your insurance information. Simply fill out the form that is located on the back of your statement and mail it to the address indicated or you can reach them over the phone at 1-800-355-2470.
It is possible that you may receive two separate bills for your physician visit, however these bills are for different services and you’re not being charged twice. One of the bills that you receive is from the hospital and it covers charges for the use of the hospital supplies, technical personnel and equipment. The second bill that you might receive is the physician group bill. This second bill covers professional charges for the emergency physician services. Certain charges included in this bill include the diagnosis that you received as well as any treatment, referral and or discharge of patients receiving care in the emergency department.
When you’re ready to pay your bill, simply enter your account number in the required box. Your account number is located towards the upper right-hand corner of your statement or bill.
