Rate My Teacher

Make informed decisions within education with ratemyteachers.com. The purpose of Rate My Teachers is to assist students, parents and faculty in making informed decisions and to promote transparency in education. The program is free and allows users to anonymously rate different teachers and professors from schools around the globe. Registered users can also post and view public comments to see what people are saying about teachers and professors.

Ratemyteachers.com is not limited to use by students only. Of course, it is preferred that users rate only teachers and professors that they have first-hand knowledge of. But, because of the impossibility to verify which users have knowledge of which educators, due to the anonymous ratings, it is important to consider each review carefully and with skepticism.

How to Post a Rating on RateMyTeacher

All you have to do is make a search for your desired teacher or professor’s name. After doing this you will need to identify your location, which end up making the search process much more simple. You can also browse through teachers and professors according to your location. You can do this according to your state, city or school/college. If it so happens that the educator that you are looking for is not yet listed, you can always take it upon yourself to get the ball moving and add a new teacher or professor to the list. After you do this you are free to post your rating about this educator. Your ratings are posted immediately after you submit them!

The ratings on Rate My Teachers are based on a 1-5 scoring system, with one being the worst and five being the best. However, the overall rating of a teacher or professor depends on the way that person scores in each category. The more ratings an educator has, the more accurate the overall rating of that educator will be. Looking to rate your college professor? Learn how to use the ratemyprofessors service site here.
