To find out what and if it’s you may be eligible for, you do not need to login or have an account, simply fill out a short form to see what benefits you might get. If you wish to apply for certain benefits you will need to have an account and login.

There are many Texas benefit programs available in many different ways for you to get help. Some of the benefits available to you are healthcare which covers visits to interest, hospitals and doctors as well is covers medicines ordered by doctors and dentist. This coverage is done through Medicaid and children’s health insurance program. SNAP food benefits are also available, these benefits help families buy food for good health. TANF cash help, helps families that have children 18 years of age or younger to pay for basic family necessities and needs. Other programs are available help people who are dealing with filing taxes, natural disasters and domestic violence.


Applying for benefits is easy, simply go to yourtexasbenefits.com 24 hours a day seven days a week and apply. To fill out an application online you will need to:

  • Click the apply for benefits box
  • Set up a valid account
  • Fill out the form
  • Send the form in by clicking a button at the end of the form

If you’re having trouble applying for benefits, you can call toll-free 211 or you can call 1-877-541-7905. Continue the process in and someone on the friendly staff will help you Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM.

If you would like to fill out a paper application, you can print out the form and fill it in by hand, make sure to sign and date the copy of the form. To get this form you will need to click on the button titled “get a paper form”located at the bottom of the homepage. Next you will scroll down to “asks you have the forms mailed to you.”

Once you have completed a method of application, you can view your case by logging in. Once logged into your account you can do the following:

  • Check the status of your case
  • See your benefits and amounts
  • Report changes to your case
  • Renew your benefits
  • Print a Medicaid card
  • View Medicaid services
  • Upload files you want to send
  • View items you sent
  • Check your interview time
